The DuoPack is a combination of a ConVertor E1 and a MIDVertor E1 neatly joined together for a plug n' play experience. Together they act like the ultimate pitch tracking synthesizer, giving you monophonic pitch CV output as well as MIDI output.

The E1 modules

Connected via 4-pin bi-directional digital connection, those two Eurorack modules make up a new way of playing and controlling your synthesizers. Play a monophonic audio source into the audio input and get 1V/octave pitch CV, ENV CV, and Gate CV outputs. You can add an external 1V/octave pitch input into the FM IN, Sustain pedal to freeze pitch and ENV. Internal DCO can work in either Audio Controlled Oscillator mode or in VCO mode leaving the preamp independent. Connect up to 7 units to add voices to the same MIDI channel. Audio to MIDI conversion is done by an ultra-fast custom firmware.

With the MIDVertor E1, the ConVertor E1 can now control external MIDI synths, but with upcoming update, be able to receive MIDI and play like one

Pressing down a connected sustain pedal will not only freeze MIDI notes, but also freezes the internal synth engine of the ConVertor E1

The DuoPack is based on 3 ARM micro-processors running custom firmwares, communicating in real time consuming around 150 mA
Current firmware 0.9 does not (yet) include visible features like external MIDI control, ARP and other planned features. Purchasing the DuoPack E1 does however, includes a lifetime free firmware updates.
